Ted Auto provides vehicle offer and submission services. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

• Vehicle details you provide, including VIN, make, model, year, and condition information
• Contact information, such as name, email, phone number, and optional address
• Photos and file attachments you submit with your vehicle information
• Account and sign-in data when you create an account or log in: email, password (stored as a secure hash), and session identifiers in HTTP-only cookies managed by our application servers
• Operational metadata like submission IDs, timestamps, and technical logs for reliability and security

How we use information

• Provide quote and submission workflows
• Respond to support requests and communicate about your submission
• Maintain and secure our systems, including abuse prevention
• Analyze service performance and improve user experience
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

How information is stored

Submission and account data are stored in our PostgreSQL database. Authentication is handled on our servers (not by a separate consumer identity platform); sessions use signed cookies. Uploaded files are stored on our servers and delivered through protected file routes. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

When we share information

We may share data with service providers that process data on our behalf, such as infrastructure, hosting, and analytics providers. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.

California privacy disclosures

If you are a California resident, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, and to request details about categories of information collected and disclosed. You may also have rights related to sale or sharing under applicable law.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
